Re: Discontinuation of Open Mandates

At MGI-PRO, our commitment is to deliver professional, transparent, and accountable real estate services. After reviewing our experiences in 2025, we have identified ongoing challenges linked to open mandates issued by property sellers.

Open mandates rely on sellers consistently updating every agent they have appointed. Unfortunately, this has not been happening. As a result, agencies… including MGI-PRO… often receive outdated information, properties continue to be advertised after sellers have already signed Deed of Sale agreements, and conflicting details circulate in the market. This creates unnecessary confusion for buyers, damages credibility, and leads to operational and legal complications.

To protect our brand integrity and ensure accurate, controlled marketing, MGI-PRO will no longer accept open mandates from 1 January 2026.

Moving forward, we will work strictly through sole or exclusive mandates, where responsibility, communication and marketing control are clearly assigned. This ensures proper buyer qualification, professional representation, and clean transaction management from listing to transfer.

We appreciate the understanding of all property sellers and remain committed to serving with excellence, honesty, and results.
